If desired, invite family members or close friends to be present during the euthanasia. This can provide emotional support during this difficult time.

After-Care Options
After your pet has peacefully passed away, it’s important to consider how you would like to handle their remains. petslove offers the following after-care options:
Private Cremation
With this option, your pet will be privately cremated, and you will receive their ashes in the urn of your choice, as well as a framed clay paw and a fur trimming. You can also opt for other keepsake options.
Communal Cremation
In this option, your pet will be cremated along with other pets, and their ashes will not be returned to you. You have the option to purchase a clay paw, nose ink print, paw ink print and/or fur trimming.
Home Burial
If local laws permit, you can choose to bury your pet on your property.
Aquamation
This eco-friendly option uses water, heat and alkaline chemicals to gently break down your pet’s remains. The ashes will be returned in the urn of your choice, and you will receive a framed clay paw and fur trimming.
Terramation
Terramation is an environmentally friendly process that converts your pet’s remains into soil, allowing them to contribute to the growth of a memorial tree or plant. It provides a sustainable and beautiful way to honor your pet’s memory.
